About
First came love, then came marriage, then came social media stepmotherhood instead of a baby carriage.
Some women dream of a white wedding and 2.5 children in 3 years. My dreams were more along the lines of Internet super-geekdom with, perchance, a husband and a couple kids in a moderately priced house.
I’ve been a writer ever since the day they wired my jaw shut in high school (true story). I graduated with a journalism degree from Northern Illinois University in 1998, moved into an editorial role for a B2B in Chicago and meandered my way up the publishing food chain until social media unveiled itself to me in the fall of 2007.
By day, I’m a senior digital editor for a Chicago B2B Publisher where I employ social media tools to reach out to my audience.
Once I step foot inside my house, I’m a doting stepmom to two great kids, “Swiss army wife” to a successful husband, and all around cool lady who just happens to be addicted to social media.
You can find me on Twitter (@Ehal76), LinkedIn, and Facebook among other things, which I’ll reveal on the next few pages.
